I heard about their Peking duck, which turned out to be very good but my favorite dish turned out to be the Fujian fried rice which was great! It comes in a broth, and the rice is both crispy and sticky and on a cool night, it's the perfect comfortable food. Delicious! As for the Peking duck, it's cooked perfectly (a true medium rare) and has a nice crispy skin. Its served in a nice sauce which is much nicer than the hoisen sauce served in the side. The pancakes are thin, light and warm. Great Other good dishes are the Prawn Toast with uni on top and the pan fried pork and chives (although it's probably too much food for two people!) Overall we really enjoyed the meal and would recommend visiting!

We enjoyed our dinner at Lee Ho Fook. We always enjoy seeing the chefs at restaurants. On this weeknight for a late dinner, we were the only ones sitting at the bar facing the kitchen where the chefs worked; other diners opted for the upstairs dining room. It was nice having the space to ourselves. Service was great! We felt very taken care of by our hostess, who had good recommendations for us. After our dinner, when we asked for a recommendation for a weekday lunch, our hostess asked the chef; Chef Victor came out to chat with us, and provided a couple of recommendations. It's clear he is well connected and also passionate about food. The standouts from tonight include: - Eggplant w/szechuan sauce, a signature dish. The sauce is the star here. - Peking duck: we ordered a half order between the two of us and it was the perfect amount. There's depth to the flavors of both the duck and the hoisin sauce it came with; we were also impressed with how thin the pancakes for wrapping were, and perfect portioning matching 1:1 for pancakes and duck slices. Honorable mention also for the salted guava jelly at the end of the meal. It was quite yummy and I wished I could buy some to bring home.

Maybe they are inconsistent based on the reviews, but this was one of the best Chinese meals I've ever had. Fried eggplant in Red wine sauce - absolutely delicious, and the sauce was very tasty - sweet sour and spicy Bing bread - incredible texture and flavor Fujian fried rice - such amazing depth of flavor, give it a stir and it comes to life. Even the welcome tea (strawberry rhubarb infused) was delicious. The flavors and preparation here are outstanding, would recommend in a heartbeat.

Had dinner at Lee Ho Fook last night and thoroughly enjoyed it ... we definitely over ordered however! We started with the scallop and tofu, and crispy chicken crackle. Both were fantastic and probably our favourite dishes of the night. We shared the Holmbrae chicken next - this was very spicy (just as the waiter forewarned!) and very enjoyable. The rice noodles were al dente which I loved, also the crunch of peanuts which went well against the softness of the chicken and burn of the chilli oil. Next we had the sweet and sour vegetables. The broccoli was crunchy, almost dehydrated. There was kale and crispy garlic too. The sweet/sour flavour was almost a powder. I know that sounds a bit weird ... but this dish was something different and I liked it. We ordered one of the specials, blue swimmer crab and scallop fried rice. This dish was enormous (also forewarned by waiter on that!). I didn't try this, I'm not a lover of seafood, but was told it was very nice and the seafood was King. The service here was good and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. We will come back to have some of these dishes again and look forward to trying some others too.

The menu wasn't huge and some of them sounds like your typical Chinese food. We thought we would do the banquet, I think there are some hits and misses. There was the black fungi which I totally love, the tea egg which didn't blow my mind, we had some additional dishes (corn and cucumber) for one of our friend who didn't eat mushroom or egg. Pizza with mozzarella here? It was great, the mozzarella used just melts in my mouth and bang bang chicken was alrite, I supposed. Then steamed vegies and barramundi, the barramundi was nice, and this felt like the steamed fish from your chinese restaurant. Eggplant was amazing. Its not something I normally love to eat but had 2 pieces. Yum! The sweet and sour pork is nothing to talk about, the spicy lamb was good and we got some wagyu in place for pork for one of our friend. Dessert was Jasmine tea in burnt caramel which I don't love. Regardless of the misses, I will still be back to try the other dishes. I love the ambience and the service here.

I had a lovely meal here with friends recently. It may not have consistently been mind-blowing but solid across the board with some highlights. The eggplant is awesome and there was an interesting take on other dishes. Excellent front of house and somm.
